Mina is a clinical pharmacist by training. He began his career as a healthcare analyst for GlobalData, responsible for preparing a variety of reports regarding product development and potential market access of upcoming products in late phase trials. This enabled him to build a sound understanding of the changing dynamics in healthcare and the way in which products reach the NHS.
Mina joined the Oxford AHSN in 2019. In this role, his primary responsibilities are feasibility studies and interviews, pathway creation, literature searches and the preparation of reports showing the data and recommendations for new products entering the market. His key challenges are to access relevant stakeholders, find the correct avenues for questioning and investigation and swiftly identify appropriate clinical pathways.
Mina and the team have been involved in projects in all forms for both large and small pharmaceutical companies. They are keen to strengthen and deepen existing client relationships and expand the range of projects completed, to include NICE submissions, in-depth work on drugs and medication and additional economic modelling.
Mina strongly believes that the ever changing dynamics in the healthcare industry have resulted in an increased focus on cost and market access, resulting in a crucial role for the market access industry in ensuring the correct products reach the correct patients at the correct price in the NHS.
